After a long while...

Thinking back, I used to post pretty regularly when I just started, but nowadays, I don't seem to be able to find anything to write about. The novelty of having a blog died down, I guess. Well, it should! It's been more than a year!!! Or maybe even more than that. I can't remember when I started anymore. Hee.

What has been happening in my life these days? Nothing. Hmm.. Let's see. It's the time again for constant insufficient sleep. I have been sleeping after 4am and waking up before 8am. Woke up at 7am today. Thanks to a call from a friend to come to school for breakfast, not his fault actually, we made an appointment last night. I thought, if I was going to suffer, I didn't want to be alone. Heh heh. Woke my housemate up also and woke another friend up after quite a few phonecalls.

So now, I'm happy and contented (with respect to my GI tract) and sitting in the computer lab. Planned to STUDY after breakfast but sometimes, plans get disrupted right? Heh. Still have the bulk of behavioural science to go. Shall finish all of it today. Need some motivation. Hmm... oh! Motivation is a set of processes that arouse, direct and maintain a person towards attaining a goal. If I can't seem to cramp stuff into my head even though I mug like crazy, I'll have this condition called "learned helplessness". It's the psychological state that occurs when an individual feels that he is not in control of his environment. It can lead to depression!!! AH!!! Haha. Yes yes, I'm going nuts.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I went for riverdance on Sunday!!! Paid 100+++RM for a break from studying. Sound crazy? I think it was worth it. They were good. Very good. Actually, I didn't go there thinking that it would be good. Everyone tells me that the performance will be good but I was skeptical about it. I mean, half the time, what the whole wide world claim is good turns out to be crap. Basically, I went because I thought it would be a good experience and I knew that missing it this time would mean that I wouldn't have a chance for a long long time. When the music started and the dancers started to move. OMG, they were impressive. Very glad that I went. *grin*

Mmm, still about 45 minutes to go before lecture starts. I better go get some studying done, or I would have wasted this whole waking up early thing right? I'll most again some other time. In the mean time, wish me luck for Monday's paper ok?

Just to prove that it's not because I'm lazy that I've not been posting for some time, here's my post. Heh heh. Seriously, nothing much I can think of to write about. So, let's see... what has been happening in my life that's remotely interesting? NOTHING!!! Ok, thought of something, here goes!

Languages

Came to school today to find something on my sem noticeboard, says something like since english is the medium of instruction in this university, all students are to speak only english. Let's see, when did I last hear something like that? Ermz, yes! Primary school!!! And of course, during RC trainings. I agree that it is highly appropriate to use the organisation's official language during official stuff but, to have to adhere to one language all the time? Is it necessary?

Yes, this strange announcement doesn't affect me too much since I think my ang moh is still passable but what I don't like is the restriction! Cranky! But heh, no one's bothering much about it, I think.

Ok, enough of my crap. (ehz, I can't think of anything else to write on lahz!). Now need to get started on my PBL. Hee.
